    Mr. Joseph Hardin Johnson
died suddenly at New Haven
Tuesday night.  He had at-
tended to his usual duties during
the day, and made no complaint
until a few minutes before his
death, when he retired to bed.
Shortly thereafter he expired,
almost without a struggle.
   Deceased was a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Hardin Johnson and was
aged about 23 years.  He was an
estimable young man and had
many friends here and elsewhere
who will greatly regret his un-
timely death.
