----- Mr. Newton Pitt is having a nice veranda built to his residence, Mr. Chas. Tichenor is doing the work.
| Mr. Thos. Woodson purchased a fine buggy mare last week. Quite a number of our people attended the sale of Mr. J. W. Duncan, near Bloomfield, last week. Mr. Harvey Kurtz, our accomodating liveryman, is visiting his family and relatives and friends in Louisville. Miss Jane Showalter, little Miss Daisy Gentry and Mr. Jas. Gentry, of Mt. Washington, visited Mr. J.W. Browne and family. Rev. Father Davis, who has been very sick at Lexington for some time, is reported better at this writing. Mrs. James McKenna, who has been ill at the home of her father in Louisville, is some better, we are glad to report. |
